Tarrant County is hiring for the following position:

Communication Specialist/9-1-1 Dispatcher (Sheriff's Department) Utilizes 9-1-1 telephones, administrative phones, and police radio. High School or GED. A minimum of one (1) year of work experience. TCIC/NCIC Full Access Operator, Dispatcher and 9-1-1 certification within one (1) year. Basic general office skills. Must take and pass a typing test of 40 wpm. Must take and pass an entry level exam for this position. A background check is required. $15.69/hour. Vacancy opens 8-11-08.
